Joseph Kearney has been teaching adults for thirty four
years since instructing electronics in the U.S. Army Signal
Corp. He received his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University
and his doctorate from the University of Michigan. He has done
corporate work in market research, forecasting, and operations
research, and has been teaching college statistics and math
related courses since 1977. Joseph is also a certified flight
instructor and currently is a part time copilot on a corporate
jet. He is a ten-time marathoner with plans to marathon for
another ten years. Joseph lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan and
has two grown sons. Joseph learned the craft
of shipbuilding from his father, a physician whose surgical
instruments he still uses for his work. It is his wish that
this site commemorate the Doria's presence in
the history of great ocean liners. |
